Special Report with Brit Hume { November 16 }
2010 Chamber Annual Meeting

What is the Chamber's Annual Resource Campaign?

The Total Resource Campaign is the Wichita Metro Chamber's annual volunteer driven campaign that not only recruits local companies into Chamber membership but also provides the majority of  the sponsorship funding for the following year's programs and events. The Campaign represents a significant portion of the Chamber's annual operating budget, making it one of the Chamber's most important projects each year. The 2008 Campaign obtained more than $411,000 in membership and program commitments - the highest grand total in the history of the Campaign and a 15% increase from the previous year's grand total!

Through the efforts of more than 50 outstanding volunteers, TRC brings new investments to the Chamber and increases awareness of the Chamber's role in our community.

To see the different opportunites available, view the 2010 sponsorship listing here.

How does it work?
From September 3 through November 18, volunteers contact member companies to discuss the marketing and advertising opportunities available through Chamber events, programs and publications. Volunteers sell everything from memberships to sponsorships for various Chamber events including Annual Meeting, the Golf Classic, Metro Mingel and YPW events to promotional opportunities in the Chamber's newsletter.

Who is involved?
The 2009 Campaign Co-Chairs are Anita Oberwortmann with Wilson Building Maintenance/Metro Courier and Greg Klenda with Klenda, Mitchell, Austerman & Zuercher, L.L.C. Along with their Team Captains, they oversee more than 50 volunteers from more than 20 various companies. Many of Wichita's top businesses and their employees continue to participate in the Campaign year after year.

How can I participate?

As a Sponsor
As a Campaign Sponsor, your company helps make the Campaign possible. Approximately 150 member companies sponsored the 2008 Campaign, from $50 to $5,000. Benefits include recognition on Campaign materials, in Chamber event promotion and the Chamber's web site.

As a Team
To maximize your company's involvement and exposure, sponsor a team for the 2009 Campaign. What does it take to have a team? Support from your company's President / CEO, at least three volunteers and a commitment to sell $5,000 or more in sponsorships, advertising, and membership sales.
